The Lead Capture Page: What Does The Lead Capture Page Mean For Your Online Business?

I am assuming that you have a website that has a hosting company maintaining it, and an autoresponder as well as an opt-in page, also known as the lead capture page. Having a lead capture page/opt-in box on your website is similar to fishing. In that the various forms of advertising or bate that you use to lure in your prospcets in an attempt to hopefully hook them is just like fishing.

Anyone with a website can lure prospects to their site with various forms of bate, advertising and/or promotions. But with an opt-in page you need an auto responder. The auto responder captures the names and email addresses of those you lure to the page. It is also the data manager that allows you to send out emails on a schedule that you determine; you can also send out mass broadcasts at a specific time to millions of people.

These are some of the primary reasons why you would want to have a lead capture opt-in box on your website for your business. Unlike a standard website with no lead capture opt-in box, the opt-in box enables you to capture leads, names, and email addresses.

The primary purpose for capturing names and email addresses, is so that you can begin to build relationships with the people that come to your site, as opposed to them coming to your site once, maybe purchasing and then you never see them again, they slipped off the hook.

Because if you don’t capture these names and email addresses, then you won’t know the history of the lead, and you won’t be able to follow up with them to offer them other services and products that they may have an interest in.

When you have a lead capture opt-in box on your website, you are now able to send to this clientele, that you have captured via their names and email address, offers and things that make sense regardless whether or not they have purchased your previous offer.

In effect, you are not luring in the prospect, or fish, only once. And opt-in box allows you to lure your prospect, catch him/her if they buy; then release them only to attempt to lure them back again with some other bait or advertisement at some point in the future.

So the lead capture opt-in box enables you to establish long term relationships with each prospect by keeping them around your business hopefully indefinitely, with each subsequent offer.

And therefore capture, and release them again and again, in your business, or backyard, just like one may do with a fish farm. Its very convienient, effective, and requires much less work.
