Facebook FBML Tutorial – Step By Step Instructions to Adding Your FBML Tab Into Your Fan Page

You can add your own webpage(s) into Facebook with the Facebook FBML application. Though this may seem tricky at first, it is quite simple. This Facebook FBML tutorial will walk you through the process step by step.

1. Log into your Facebook profile and click on Manage Pages under the Account tab.
2. Click on Edit Page under your Fan Page Logo or Image.
3. Look under More Applications and find the Static FBML application.
Note*If you do not see it right away, you can search by clicking Browse More.
4. Click Add to My Page in the top left-hand corner on the Static FBML page.
5. A box will come up. Go ahead and add the Static FBML tab. You do this by simply clicking Add to Page.
6. Now you will repeat Step 2. Go back to your Fan Page and under your logo or image, click Edit Page once again. You should see your FBML page now under your Applications. Now you can click on Edit.
7. You will see a Box Title area. Enter what you want your tab to say. Paste the HTML code you have into the FBML Box. Now just save the changes.
If you are in need of some code to put in and are not familiar with HTML, go to your WordPress blog and make a page, click the HTML tab and copy and paste that code into your Facebook FBML page. You can use the html code for your optin box from your autoresponder, but you need to use the raw html code.
8. Once more, as in Step 2, go to your Fan Page and click on Edit Page. Scroll down to Wall Settings and click Edit.
9. Now change your Default Landing Tab for Everyone Else through the drop down menu. In the menu you should see your FBML tab. By choosing your Facebook FBML tab, your new visitors will land on your FBML tab when coming to your Fan Page.
